Rewrite Your Self-Story

You are running on a story you didn't consciously choose. The good news: stories can be rewritten.

By Leutrim Miftaraj·Updated January 2026

The inherited script

Most of your self-image was assembled early, from what you were told and the conclusions you drew before you could evaluate them. You've been running that script ever since, mistaking it for simple fact.

Choosing what to carry

Rewriting the story doesn't mean lying about your past. It means choosing, deliberately, which evidence you keep giving weight to and which you retire. The person you're becoming doesn't have to be defined by the person you used to be.
